Welcome to the Rogers lab! I am Dr. Mary Rogers. 

Our lab members broadly explores ecological-based strategies to improve production of vegetables and fruit in organic systems. Overall research themes address integrated pest management for horticultural crops with an emphasis on organic management and improving local and organic fruit and vegetable production using season extension and protected culture. 

Specifically, our research agendas investigate:

1) fertility management for transitional/organic production systems
2) season extension and productivity
3) maximizing crop yield and quality in organic systems
4) insect pest management
